Carbon Monoxide Safety & Alarms
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a silent killer – it's colourless, odourless, and can be deadly. That's why having working CO alarms in your home isn't just important, it's essential.
We takes carbon monoxide safety seriously. During every boiler service and gas appliance check, we test for CO levels to ensure your equipment is operating safely. We can also advise on the best placement for carbon monoxide alarms in your home and supply and fit quality detectors where needed.

Why Use a Gas Safe Engineer?
It's illegal for anyone to carry out gas work in the UK unless they're on the Gas Safe Register – and with good reason. Poorly installed or maintained gas appliances can lead to gas leaks, fires, explosions, and carbon monoxide poisoning. Using a Gas Safe registered engineer protects you, your family, and your property. All our work is fully compliant with current gas safety regulations, and we provide the necessary certification for every job.
Always Check
Identification
Every Gas Safe engineer carries a photo ID card showing which types of gas work they're qualified to do. Always ask to see it before work begins.
Get the Right Certificates
After gas work, you should receive the appropriate certificates (such as a Gas Safety Certificate). You may need them for insurance or when selling your property.

FAQs
Got questions about gas safety or gas appliance installations? Here are the answers to some common queries.
A Gas Safety Certificate (also called a landlord's gas safety certificate or CP12) is a legal requirement for landlords, confirming that all gas appliances, fittings, and flues in a rental property are safe. It must be renewed annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Even if you're not a landlord, regular gas safety checks are highly recommended for your own peace of mind and are sometimes required by insurance companies.
All Gas Safe engineers carry a Gas Safe ID card with their photo, registration number, and the types of gas work they're qualified to do. You can also check an engineer's registration online at the Gas Safe Register website using their licence number. Never let anyone work on your gas appliances unless they can prove they're Gas Safe registered – it's illegal and dangerous.
Yes, we install all types of domestic gas appliances including boilers, gas fires, gas cookers and hobs, and gas water heaters. We're experienced with all major brands and can advise on the best options for your needs. All installations are carried out to current regulations, properly tested, and fully certified. If you're replacing an existing appliance or installing something new, we'll assess your property and ensure everything is safe and compliant.
If you smell gas in your property, act immediately. Open windows and doors to ventilate the area, don't use any electrical switches or naked flames, turn off the gas supply at the meter if safe to do so, and evacuate the property. Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 straight away – they operate 24/7 and will send someone out free of charge. Never ignore a gas smell or assume it will go away.
We recommend annual servicing for all gas appliances, particularly boilers. Regular servicing keeps appliances running safely and efficiently, prevents breakdowns, and is usually required to maintain manufacturer warranties. For landlords, annual gas safety checks are a legal requirement. Even if your appliance seems to be working fine, problems can develop that aren't immediately obvious – a service will identify potential issues before they become dangerous or expensive.
